One of the issues I found from the initial suspension that I made, was that the gearbox sat far too low - the differential housing was a bit too close to the road for my liking.I was looking at the cross member considering flipping the whole thing over, as I have seen done by Kaieena on this thread over at vdubber (thread used to be in the forums here) http://www.vdubber.com/orca/#topic/--2009-04-16.htm What I discovered was, that if I flipped the mounts upside down, I effectively raised the gearbox cross member by 20mm - you can see this here - the mount on the right has been flipped. I need to get the whole thing back in the car and decide how I am going to mount the cross member in, but it looks like it might just be enough to getthe diff housing clearance to over 100mm which is the minimum I want to run.
