TopThe Type 34 Registry

The Type 34 registry is the most comprehensive site for Type 34 Ghias on the Web. It is well structured and has a lot to offer. The site is now available to join for free. There is a forum, classifieds, a gallery section plus lots of useful info and also a database of all known Type 34's. There is also a very usefull mailing list

TopThe UK Type 34 Registry

The UK Registry pages for the Type 34 Karmann Ghia, is a page set up by Clive Richardson, who many of you who frequent the show circuit may have met. he is building an on-going register of known UK T-34's, and is always on the lookout for unknown cars.

Daniels site records the progress of the restoration of his 1969 Automatic Type 3 Ghia. The 1969 Automatic model is one of the rarer variants of Type 3 Ghia with many of the parts being particular to this, the last year of production. Daniel is also an active participant of the Registry and Registry mailing list.

Russ's is another Registry contributor, his site contains some usefull Type 3 info including information on special wiring options. There is also a Gallery that Russ shares with some of his Type 3 friends.

The Automanics homepage is the web page of the Automanics racing team, home to the most awesome full on race prepped Type 34 Ghia I have ever seen. Take a look at the site, you will be impressed with the amount of work that has gone into the car. The car is currently being campained by it's owner in the VWDRC.

Scott Taylors Blog, covering information about the VW 1500 range and more specifically his restoration of a 1962 Type 34 Ghia. As usual with Blogs, there's a myriad of past articles to read, with some interesting press articles and photos thrown in for good measure. A nicely presented site, well worth a visit.

TopTales from the Razors edge

I discovered this site after surfing there from Scott Taylors site (above). The owner appears to be from Vienna and also owns a Razordege. Lots of interesting VW stuff on there, well worth a look.

Jurgen Magdelyns Blog. Jurgen has a number of Type 34's and is currently building a type 34 drag racer. Jurgen also can supply replacement Sill sections (Rocker kits). Check out the site for more information.
Mostly photos, very little text, of the ongoing project.
