This week I managed to pick up the remaining few items from the chromers - regular visitors will remember that it's been quite a while since the remaining few parts were taken in for rechroming and polishing - the delay being due to the owner coming off of his harley and suffering some nasty injuries. A few pins and metal plates later an he's back up on his feet and has finished my parts off.
Due to the delays he wouldn't charge me - even though I offered - he told me that I would be back - and he's right too The job they do is excellent and I would reccomend them to anyone
One of the parts I got back was the drivers door mirror - this is made partly from the pourous pot metal commonly referred to as maizac? - I thought that it was too pitted to be restorable - but as usual after the boys have worked thier magic it now looks like new.
So if you need chrome work done - look no further than Chrome Masters at Elizabeth West.
(Be warned that they are playing catchup at the moment and are still taking care of orders from before the accident so don't expect a super speedy turn around.)
