With the warmer weather here to stay, it's probably about time that I got back into putting the Ghia back together. The gearbox is half reassembled and shouldn't take too much time to finish. with the gearbox and engine refitted in the car I can then ship it out to get the headers made up and possibly get the rear arches replaced (they were damaged when the car was shipped from the UK).
Last year I promised myself to get it finished for this year...
lol - how such idle promises are so easy to come by...
I took another trip past the chromers today to see if the remainder of my chroming was finished, there's the mirror, seat handles and some others parts that I previously forgot to do. These parts have been there quite some time as the guy who runs it came off of his harley and hasn't been able to walk too easily. Although my parts weren't ready, it was good to see Mick walking around without his crutches (well more of a hobble really). The parts have been promised for next week...
Best pull my finger out....
