Not too much has gone on in the past couple of weeks, I've been waiting for my wheels to turn up. It took me ages to find someone who could source the wheels I wanted, and even then he only had one, he placed an order with a contact he has in Germany but unfortunately the guy has spent ages trying to locate them, last I heard was that they should be arriving in Blighty this week. When I have the wheels I can check to see if the rear suspension is too wide, if so I will have to narrow it. This isn't too bad a job, but one that I don't want to attempt without knowing by how much it is that I have to narrow it. Unfortunately this has cost me a few weeks delay, and with the trip to the paint-shop ever looming I will have to pull my finger out to get everything finished in time. I was hoping to get the pan blasted so that I could paint it, but the guy from the mobile blast company told me he needs the car to be at least three feet off of the ground to work underneath, this seems like a fair comment having already had a go myself - it's not a pleasant job. The problem here is that I have to get the car out of the garage, which is impossible without wheels, and so the patient wait for the solution of my dilemma to arrive on my doorstep continues. I may have to paint the pan after the body is painted, not ideal I know, but needs must when the devil vomits..........
